How to Install the COME APK on Android

Install the COME APK by opening the app entry, saving the Android package and following your phone’s installer prompts. First check that the download is complete and that the app identity matches what you intended to install. Opening the website alone does not install the app.

Prepare the phone and your account access

Use the Android phone or tablet on which you want the app. Have a stable connection and enough free storage for the package plus the installed app. If you already have a COME account, make sure you can still use its sign-in or recovery method before changing the software.

An APK cannot be installed as an iPhone app. Compare the current release's Android and device requirements with your phone; a matching icon or file size is not a compatibility check.

1. Open the entry and find Download

The Download page explains the difference between the COME web entry and an APK file. Check the destination and app name before saving anything. Avoid unrelated adverts or messages asking you to install a different app.

2. Check that an APK was actually saved

Look in the browser’s downloads list. Wait until it shows the download as complete, then confirm the saved item is an Android package rather than a web page, shortcut or compressed archive. Do not rename another file type to .apk to try to make it install.

Compare any stated version and size with the release information at the destination. A matching name is a useful check, but it is not proof that the file is authentic or safe.

Use the APK file checklist

3. Read the Android installation prompts

Open the completed download from its notification or file manager. Android may require an installation permission for that browser or file manager. Review the source-specific prompt and your device’s instructions. Proceed only if you understand and trust the source; do not disable Play Protect or bypass a harmful-app warning.

Read the app identity and any permission request presented by the installer. If a company-managed phone blocks installation, contact its administrator rather than trying to remove its controls. Menu names and permitted installation routes vary by Android version and manufacturer.

4. Complete installation and open the app

Wait for the installer’s completion message. Choose Open, or locate COME in the app list. If a shortcut exists but Android has no installed-app entry, check whether you added a website shortcut instead of installing a package.

Existing users should use their established account. A fresh app installation does not require a replacement identity. If the interface opens but account access fails, use the appropriate sign-in or recovery path.

Know which kind of failure you have

  • The download never completes: investigate the connection and the browser download first.
  • Android refuses the package: keep the exact installer message and follow the installation-error guide.
  • The app installs but does not open: note the device, Android version and visible symptom.
  • The app opens but login fails: treat it as an account issue before reinstalling.

Troubleshoot an installation error

Google’s Android guidance recommends keeping Play Protect enabled. It can inspect apps from outside Google Play and warn about potentially harmful behaviour.
